Product Introduction


Tungsten-copper electrodes: Tungsten-copper alloys features the advantages of both tungsten and copper, that is, high temperature resistance, arc ablation resistance, high strength, high specific gravity, outstanding electrical and thermal conductivity, small thermal expansion, easy cutting and processing, and can undergo transpiration cooling. Widely used in industries such as welding electrodes, arc contacts and vacuum contacts for high and medium voltage switches or circuit breakers, and electrodes for electric discharge machining.

Molybdenum-copper electrodes: Molybdenum-copper alloys exhibit the positive characteristics of both molybdenum and copper, i.e. high temperature resistance, arc ablation resistance, high electrical and thermal conductivity, and low thermal expansion coefficient; there are also non-magnetic, have a low gas content and excellent vacuum performance, are easy to process, and feature transpiration cooling. Widely used in welding electrodes, electrical contacts in vacuum switches, water-cooled electrode heads for high-temperature furnaces, electrodes for EDMs, heat sink materials etc.

Product Application


Tungsten-molybdenum and its alloy electrodes are widely used in resistance welding, high-voltage contacts, plasma spraying, welding and other industries. Resistance welding refers to the technology of using the resistance heat generated by the current passing through the weldment and the contact as the heat source, in order to locally heat the weldment and simultaneously pressurize it for welding. High temperature resistance welding electrodes are mostly made of tungsten copper, which features high temperature resistance, high temperature strength, arc ablation resistance, excellent electrical and thermal conductivity, and fast heat dissipation.
