Application Field
Nuclear Power
Field Introduction
Tungsten is a refractory metal with high melting point, high thermal conductivity, high density and high strength. It has become the preferred metal material in modern nuclear power devices due to its excellent characteristics such as low sputtering rate, low fuel retention and low neutron activation.
Since the 21st century, ATTL and its predecessor AT&T Refractory Materials, have participated in major international scientific research projects, including the European Large Hadron Collider (CERN-LHC), the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER), the China neutron spallation source (CSNS), the European neutron spallation source (ESS) and third-generation nuclear pumps. It has a wealth of domestic and international cooperation experience in the field of high-end scientific research and is the leading domestic manufacturer of metal refractory materials in China.
