FAQ
The company takes "making mankind healthier and the world better" as its corporate mission, and adheres to the corporate core values of "achieving customers, benefiting employees, rewarding shareholders, benefiting society, harmony and win-win"
Can you provide finished parts?
Yes. Our company has more than 100 CNC machine tools and various three-coordinate inspection equipment, to meet the processing and inspection requirements of finished products.
How do tungsten copper materials prevent oxidation?
Generally speaking, tungsten and copper are stable in dry, room-temperature environments, but if exposed to a humid environment for a long time, copper will oxidize to form patina (Cu2(OH)2CO3). Therefore, it is recommended that tungsten copper materials be stored in a dry environment, and if necessary, vacuum packaging or surface coating can be used for added protection.
How should tungsten and molybdenum materials be stored and kept, and how can the issue of surface oxidation be solved?
Tungsten and molybdenum materials are inevitably oxidized and blackened in air, especially at high temperatures and in humid environments. For products with high surface requirements, it is recommended to store them in vacuum packaging with a built-in desiccant, and to keep them in a warehouse below 25°C, with a dew point below 45, to slow down oxidation. If the product has become oxidized, use alkaline cleaning agents (such as metal cleaning agents or laundry detergent) to scrub it, then use pure water and alcohol to remove any residue; dry the product before vacuum packaging. If necessary, anneal inside a vacuum or reducing atmosphere to remove surface oxidation.
Can tungsten and molybdenum crucibles be flaw detected?
Surface rules: If the smoothness is ≤ Ra3.2, ultrasonic fault detection can be carried out. The single pore diameter for detecting internal defects is < φ2.0mm (< φ1.2mm for multiple pores). Refer to GJB1580A-2019 Class A "General Vehicle Optical Surface Flaw Detection".
What is the processing performance of tungsten alloy materials? Can they be processed into finished products with complex shapes?
Tungsten alloy materials are made by adding nickel or iron to tungsten, and sintering the liquid phase of copper. Compared with pure tungsten, the materials not only retain high-density characteristics, but also greatly improve the processing performance of tungsten itself, and can be processed into complex-shaped finished products. However, it still has high requirements for processing equipment and personnel. Moreover, tungsten alloy materials are much more difficult to process than conventional steel and aluminum. ATTL Tungsten and Molybdenum Technology Co., Ltd. has been engaged in the deep processing of tungsten and molybdenum materials for decades, and boasts industry-leading tungsten and molybdenum processing experience and know-how in the domestic industry. We can not only provide semi-finished products such as rods and plates, but also complete finished parts.
The R&D phase requires very few samples, with multiple adjustments needed. Can you cooperate on this kind of project?
Our company is very willing to provide initial support for companies and projects in the R&D phase. We can provide materials and design solutions after learning about your project needs in detail. We have been working closely with our customers on many batch production projects starting in the R&D phase.
