Material Introduction

Low Melting Point

Material Introduction

Low melting point alloys mainly refer to alloys composed of Sn, Pb, Bi, Cd, and In. Our low-melting point alloys range from 40°C to 300°C, such as Wood's alloy with a melting point of 70°C and lead-bismuth alloy with a melting point of 125°C. The most common is bismuth metal.

Our high-purity bismuth powder is silver-gray and has a purity of ≥ 99.99%. It is mainly used for low-melting point alloys, metallurgical additives, solders, and similar applications

Fabrication Process

The low melting point alloy and the bismuth powder are prepared by means of smelting.

Advantage

Low melting point alloys feature low melting points, high boiling points, high thermal conductivity, and good fluidity. Therefore, they are widely used in mold casting, safety devices, metal bonding materials, nuclear reactor cooling materials, and similar applications.
