Material Introduction
TZC Molybdenum Alloy
Material Introduction
The main component of TZC molybdenum alloys is Mo-(1.2-1.5)%Ti-(0.1-0.2)%Zr-(0.1-0.2)%C. Compared with TZM molybdenum alloys, TZC alloys have better high temperature strength, hardness and creep properties, and can be used as molds for high-temperature thermal processing of metals, die-casting molds for non-ferrous and ferrous metals, and perforated plugs for seamless steel pipes.

Fabrication Process
By means of molybdenum alloy powder preparation, isostatic pressing, high-temperature sintering, and thermal deformation processing, TZC molybdenum alloys have a density which is close to the theoretical density, thus ensuring optimal high-temperature performance.

Advantage
Due to the solid solution strengthening and dispersion strengthening of alloying elements Ti and Zr, TZC molybdenum alloys greatly improve the high-temperature mechanical properties and recrystallization temperature of pure molybdenum.
