Product Introduction

Tungsten has a melting point as high as 3,420ºC, and features good strength and hardness, excellent high temperature performance, low resistivity, small expansion coefficient, and small electronic work function. It is a widely-used, high-temperature resistant metal.

The tungsten crucible is made of pure tungsten. It is an important container for sapphire crystal growth thermal fields, rare earth smelting, continuous quartz melting, and high temperature heat treatment furnaces. It can be used in vacuums and inert gas environments below 2,600°C.


Product Application

The sapphire crystal growth process needs to provide a melting temperature in excess of 2200°C, which requires extremely high-temperature strength and high-temperature creep resistance performance for the thermal field materials. The use of tungsten crucibles to carry crystals can meet the process of repeated heating and cooling, while high-purity materials ensure an uncontaminated crystal growth environment.
