Product Introduction

Molybdenum-rhenium alloy is an alloy composed of molybdenum as the matrix, combined with different quantities of rhenium. Both molybdenum and rhenium are refractory metals, combining the two components. Molybdenum-rhenium alloy features both the high-temperature physical properties of rhenium and the excellent mechanical properties of molybdenum.

Depending on the rhenium content, molybdenum-rhenium alloys can be divided into many types, such as Mo-5%Re, Mo-14%Re, Mo-41%Re, Mo-47.5%Re and Mo-50%Re. The performance and specific use of different models are varied. Under certain conditions, as the rhenium content increases, the plasticity, ductility and high-temperature strength of the alloy product also increase.

Aerospace components: Molybdenum-rhenium alloys are used in high-temperature components and temperature measurement systems, structural materials, space reactor heating tubes, and other applications in the aerospace field.

Electronics industry: electron probes, targets.

Semiconductor industry: Molybdenum-rhenium alloys are used in high-temperature components and thermocouple wires for equipment used in the semiconductor industry.

Medical industry: molybdenum-rhenium cardiovascular stents, bone-friendly implants.
