Product Introduction
Niobium zirconium (doped with 1% zirconium) is the sealing material for the arc tube of high pressure sodium lamps. Because the thermal expansion coefficient of niobium is very similar to that of sintered alumina arc lamp ceramic materials, this ceramic is resistant to chemical attack and reduction reactions with the high-temperature sodium liquid and gas inside the lamp.
Product Application
Adding zirconium to niobium can significantly improve the oxidation resistance and strength of the material. Niobium and niobium-zirconium alloy wires are widely used in the manufacture of high-pressure sodium lamps and electrolytic capacitor anode leads. Used in the manufacture of medical equipment, electrolytic capacitors, rectifiers, and other equipment.
