Product Introduction
Characterized by high density tungsten alloys, the X- & γ-ray shields manufactured by ATTL have a better shielding effect against radioactive substances. Radiation shielding improves as metal density increases. Tungsten alloys therefore have outstanding shielding properties.
Product Application
Both X-rays and γ-rays are high in energy, penetrating through the human body to image or kill cancer cells, and are becoming increasingly widely used in medical imaging diagnosis and radiotherapy. This product can be used to effectively control the radiation range, minimize radiation to other healthy cells within the patient, and prevent the surrounding environment from being affected by radiation.
Our tungsten alloys are widely used in fields of CT, LINAC, PET, nuclear medicine, and γ camera equipment; they provide the best radiation protection and beam guidance. We provide not only raw materials and fine machined parts, but also all-round solutions.
